Thanks to those of you who have already expressed interest in volunteering for our PLAAY on the Move events (formerly Sensory Friendly Time). As a brief summary, the goal of this programs is to offer enrichment activities and social experiences to children with disabilities and their families outside of home or school. These events will provide free access to modified ride-on cars and harness systems as well as adapted sensory activities in a safe, fun environment. Children are invited to bring their own cars or use the ones provided to test drive! Guided by the GoBabyGo team of therapists and educators, children with sensory disorders or mobility impairments are encouraged to engage with toys, exhibits and each other.
